BOU 1-3 MAN CITY: Aguero’s brace puts City back on track
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero scored a brace in their 3-1 win over Bournemouth in their Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.
The victory ensured Premier League Champions returned to winning ways following the controversial draw against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Manchester City took the lead after Kevin de Bruyne’s well-timed pass was delivered to Sergio Aguero in the area, the Argentine wasted no time to find the back of the net in the 15th minute of the match.
Manchester City continued to dominate with a high pressing game with David Silva almost getting the second goal for the Premier League Champions but his attempt was saved by goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the 21st minute.
Raheem Sterling scored the second goal for Manchester City after he latched on to a killer pass deep inside the box and calmly put the ball inside the post with two minutes to end the first half.
Bournemouth was also able to reduce the deficit following Harry Wilson’s goal from a free-kick, he bent the ball into the top right corner of the post in the added time of the first half.

it was Aguero that compounded the woes of the home team in the 64th minute when he pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beat the goalkeeper with a shot to the bottom left corner to make it 3-1.
The Argentine forward easily completes his brace with the third goal for the visiting team and subsequently put Manchester City back on their winning ways having drop points against Mauricio Pochettino’s men in their previous match.
The game ended 3-1 in favour of Manchester City who will entertain Brighton and Hove Albion in their next Premier League clash at Etihad Stadium, while Bournemouth will take a trip to King Power Stadium to play Leicester City.
